Community Service and Corporate Responsibility

Kolb+Co.’s strong culture of service and genuine desire to improve the communities in which we live, work and play drive our community involvement program. Our employees contribute leadership, time, talent, funds and enthusiasm to area organizations. Many serve on boards and committees to further their impact. 

 

Our firm encourages community participation and reinforces this commitment through charitable donations, fundraising drives and volunteer activities. 

 

In honor of our 50^th anniversary, we formalized our commitment to community service through the development of our Kolb+Co. Volunteer FORCE (Focus on Revitalizing Community Engagement) program. As part of this effort, our firm closes annually for a half day in the spring and donates those hours to a local organization. This is our Kolb+Co. Volunteer FORCE Action Day. In 2010, Kolb+Co. provided more than 350 volunteer hours to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee. Our team helped ready Camp Whitcomb/Mason for summer campers by clearing trails, painting cabins and cleaning and repairing facilities.  This year we will be working with the Phantom Lake YMCA Camp in Mukwonago, Wisconsin on May 6, 2011.

 

In addition to our Kolb+Co. Volunteer FORCE Action Day, all employees, family members, clients and friends of the firm are invited to participate in monthly coordinated volunteer activities. Together, we served meals, collected mobile phones for shelters, participated in the Milwaukee County Parks Weed Out, walked/ran for charities, helped with a Special Olympics athletic event as well as volunteered time for many other activities. For more information about the Kolb+Co.
