Karen Doerner, auditing and accounting shareholder of Kolb+Co. SC, has more than 20 years of public and private accounting experience. As a shareholder, she is responsible for coordinating client service and reviewing technical accounting matters.

She has performed internal controls reviews for clients to minimize errors and potential fraudulent activity. She has gained hands-on experience through positions such as corporate controller, vice president of finance and administration, operations manager and auditor. In addition to a variety of assurance assignments, she also has expertise in employee benefit plan audits. Karen is especially adept at reviewing a client’s processes and procedures to maximize productivity and reduce or eliminate inefficiencies.
